Our Commitment to Conservation and Education

At Buteo Falconry, we take pride in being a sanctuary for all species of birds of prey. Our mission is to promote conservation efforts and educate the public about these magnificent creatures. Through our various programs and experiences, we aim to create a deeper connection between humans and birds of prey. we will rehome any birds of prey that need our help, care or supporting owners giving advice. In 2024 alone we have taken in and homed 3 birds of prey ensuring they receive a forever loving home medical treatment and the manning required to make them the magnificent birds they once were. we have an array of skills and knowledge to home all species of birds of prey from owls to eagles as we personally own an array of species ourselves, that we use for our experiences.     

How to help us and our cause 

There are many ways in which you can help our sanctuary side of our business, from raising awareness of our business and its goals and ambitions for our birds and their futures, you can donate money or food for our birds. to arrange this just drop us an email and we will get back to you to discuss how you can support us and our amazing birds. 

Skills Classes and Special Educational Needs

Our skills classes cover a variety of bird of prey care and management techniques, including raptor handling, feeding techniques, health checks, and flight training. We strive to create an inclusive environment where individuals with special educational needs can participate with support and accommodations. Everyone is welcome to learn and engage with our birds. for SEND bookings we kindly ask for a donation to help towards the upkeep housing and food for all our birds
